Chapada dos Veadeiros

Staying in Alto Paraíso – 04 days and 03 nights

1st Day: Thursday – Vale da Lua Tour:

Departure from Congonhas Airport at 09:15AM
Arriving in Brasília at 11:00AM
Transfer Brasília / Alto Paraíso (230 km)
Lunch in Alto Paraíso and Staying at Pousada dos Guias Hotel
After Lunch, we gonna to the most famous atractive of São Miguel River, the Vale da Lua, small hike about 600 meters to São Miguel River, lush with rocks with their exotic shapes sculpted by waters over thousands of years.
Back to the hotel, overnight stay.

2nd Day: Friday – Preto River Falls:

After Breakfast, we will start the tour at Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park.
We gonna do the hike to the Preto River Falls.
The first fall is 120 meters high and show you an unforgettable overview, It's became the post card of Chapada dos Veadeiros. Then we visit the Salto Waterfall, 80 meters high, which has a large pool, great for swimming. Upon returning from the walk, another bath in the natural hydromassages of the quarries. We gonna hike about 10 km by the trails.

3rd Day: Saturday – Santa Bárbara and Capivara Waterfalls:

After Breakfast, we will travel to another city call Cavalcante, 90km far.
We will visit a Historic Farm called Kalunga, an old Quilombo of refugee slaves from Bahia who were discovered in the 70s.
We will visit the main natural attraction of the Kalunga community, Santa Bárbara Waterfall, 30 meters high, a beautiful river of emerald green waters with large pools.
After the visit on Santa Barbara Waterfall, we will visit another attraction on Kalunga community. We gonna go down by the Capivara Canion where we can see amazing landscapes of the place in the heart of Kalunga community.
We will do a short walk, along a trail with steep stretches. We will visit a beautiful pool of emerald green water, where is located both Waterfalls, the Capivara Waterfall and Córrego Tiririca Waterfall.
Lunch specially prepared by Kalungas in Engenho Village in the late afternoon.
Back to the Hotel, overnight stay.

4th Day: Sunday – Almécegas I Waterfall and back to Brasília:

After Breakfast, we will visita the São Bento Farm.
In this farm there is the Almécegas I Waterfall, about 45 meters high and a large natural pool.
Back to the Hotel at 11:30AM – Check-out.
Goodbye celebration lunch in Alto Paraíso.
Transfer Alto Paraíso / Brasília Airport.
Departure from Brasília at 06:00PM
Arriving in São Paulo on Congonhas Airport at 08:35PM
