Departure for Jalapão Expedition
Departure: Airports - São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro
Period: Wednesday - Night
Arrival in Palmas: Reception at the airport and transfer to Hotel Category Tourist. On the next day we start the Jalapão Expedition 360° through the Jalapão National Park, Tocantins.
First day of Expedition
07:00am: After breakfast, departure from Palmas to São Felix do Tocantins.
Morning:
Stop at Morro Vermelho, to contemplate the look of the region and photos of Morros dos Macacos. Stop at Serra da Catedral for Photos and Contemplation;
Visit to the attractive Cachoeira das Araras, with free time for a refreshing waterfall bath and natural pool. Lunch: Typical Food of the Region;
Afternoon:
Visit to the Bela Vista and Alecrim Fervedouros lakes, incredible springs that form natural pools of crystal clear water and a unique turquoise blue.
Night:
Arriving at the Hotel, free time to relax from the trip. Dinner: held at the inn with typical food from the region. Free night in the village.
Staying in São Félix do Tocantins.
Second day of Expedition
07:30am: After breakfast, departure from São Felix do Tocantins to Mateiros.
Morning:
Arrival at Fervedouro Macaúbas Lake, with free time for photos and bathing;
Visit to the attractive Cachoeira da Formiga Waterfall, with free time for a refreshing waterfall bath and natural pool with crystal clear water. Lunch: Typical Food of the Region;
Afternoon:
Visit to the attraction of the Red Sands Dunes, a true oasis with beautiful landscapes, transition between the brazilian savanna and the desert. Free time to take pictures and contemplate nature;
Night:
Dinner: Typical restaurant in the region.
Staying at an Hotel in Mateiros with free time to relax and enjoy the night in the village.
Third day of Expedition
04:00am: Option to watch the sunrise at Morro do Jucurutu (optional service, not included).
07:30am: After breakfast, departure from Mateiros to Ponte Alta.
Morning:
After breakfast visit Cacheira da Velha, a large voluminous waterfall, perfect place for an unforgettable photo of the strength and beauty of nature.
Afternoon:
After a snack break, stop for a refreshing swim in the waters of the Rio Novo river and enjoy an exclusive little beach; the tour ends with a visit to Pedra Furada stone to contemplate the sunset.
Night:
Arriving at the Hotel, free time to relax from the trip. Dinner: held at the inn with typical food from the region. Staying at an Hotel in Ponte Alta and free night to enjoy the village.
Fourth day of Expedition
07:30am: After breakfast, departure from Ponte Alta to Palmas.
Morning:
After breakfast visit to Japonês lake, a place of exotic beauty, a true paradise with crystal clear waters. Lunch: Lunch at Lake - Typical restaurant;
Afternoon:
Photos on the "Jalapão Gate" and on the Ponte Velha that gave the name to the City of Ponte Alta.
Departure from Ponte Alta towards Palmas Airport.
Departure: late afternoon from Palmas airport
Arrival: Night in São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro.
